Bakers must bake at least 12 cupcakes according to the theme/ingredient. The entries must be the same flavour, but each can have slightly different appearance if necessary. Due to increased popularity, bakers can now only enter 1 entry.

Please bring 9 of the cupcakes chopped into quarters

We get a lot of hungry judges on the night so we need enough to go round

Please provide your own sign which includes the name of your cupcake

You can also add a short description of your cupcake to the sign

Bakers must be at the Adelphi by 6.15pm

Please ensure you turn up prior to 6.15 so we can all be set up in time for when judging begins. It will be my discretion whether you will be able to enter your cupcakes if you arrive after this time.

Only bakers or judges will be welcome on the night

Due to the competition being a private function at The Adelphi, please only come along if you’re registered as a baker, or judge. The minimum age to enter or attend the competition is 18.

£5 to enter as a baker or judge

The entry fee includes a drink from the Adelphi’s bar – a choice of pint of lager/bitter/cider, small glass of house wine, a house short and mixer, a soft drink or a tea/coffee/hot chocolate.
