Challenge 21 was Fizzy Drinks, an unusual theme, definitely got people thinking. Great to see some new faces again at the competition along with the regulars of course! And thank you to everyone who wished me well as I was not feeling 100% on the night. Next month I’ll be back on top form Thanks go to my helpers on the night in my Mum and Dads absence – Jo as always, and Em for doing the photo’s once again! Much appreciated.

We had 9 entrants and surprisingly no one made Coca Cola cupcakes. The hungry judges took no time in tasting the cakes and voting the winner….

1st – Roshni’s Mountain Dew Cupcakes

Mountain Dew! A great idea, and obviously a very popular one as Roshni’s cakes were voted to be 1st place! Congratulations. The cakes were an egg free sponge with lemon and lime frosting. The goodie bag contained a ceramic cake stand, some cupcake teatowels, a cupcake notepad, and free entry to next months competition.

2nd – Sarah’s Lemonade Lovelies

Coming in 2nd place was Sarah and her tasty Lemonade Lovelies.

3rd – Em’s Ginger Beer Cupcakes

Not only did Em spend the evening taking the fabulous photo’s, she also came 3rd place with her delicious cupcakes.
